What is VAERS?

VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) is a national early warning system established in 1990 to detect possible safety problems with vaccines. It's co-managed by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

VAERS accepts and analyzes reports of adverse events (possible side effects) after a person has received a vaccination.

Is this data HIPAA compliant?

Yes, absolutely. All VAERS data displayed here is:

My vaccine lot number matches one with deaths/serious events - should I be worried?

Important context:

  • VAERS reports do NOT prove causation - A report means an event occurred after vaccination, but doesn't mean the vaccine caused it
  • Anyone can report - Reports are not verified for medical accuracy before being published
  • Coincidences happen - When millions of people get vaccinated, some will experience unrelated medical events afterward
  • Large lot numbers - Popular vaccines may have hundreds of thousands of doses from one lot number
  • More vaccinations = more reports - Lots used widely will naturally have more reports

What to do:

  • Don't panic - VAERS data requires expert analysis to interpret

Can I trust VAERS data?

VAERS is valuable but has limitations:

Bottom line: VAERS is an important tool for safety monitoring, but individual reports should not be used as proof that a vaccine caused harm.

What are "adverse events"?

An adverse event is any undesirable health occurrence that happens after vaccination, including:

  • Common reactions: Sore arm, mild fever, fatigue (usually expected)
  • Serious events: Hospitalization, disability, life-threatening illness, death
  • Coincidental events: Medical conditions that would have occurred anyway

Important: An adverse event doesn't mean the vaccine caused it - only that it occurred after vaccination. Many reported events are coincidental or unrelated.

Why are some lot numbers listed multiple times?

This is normal and expected! A person may receive multiple doses of the same vaccine from the same lot number:

  • COVID vaccines require 2-3 doses
  • HPV, Hepatitis B, and other vaccines have multi-dose schedules
  • Each dose is recorded as a separate entry

Example: Person receives Pfizer COVID dose 1 (lot ABC123) and dose 2 (lot ABC123) - lot ABC123 appears twice in their report.

How often is this data updated?

The CDC/FDA releases new VAERS data every Friday. This site is typically updated:

  • Weekly or bi-weekly for recent data
  • Check the available years to see what data is currently loaded
  • During updates, the site may be in maintenance mode temporarily

Placental pathology report described ?severely inflamed? tissue, with no bacterial or viral pathogens identified. Terminology used included chronic villitis of unknown etiology (CVUE). ER documentation was inconsistent: initially told pregnancy was normal, later labeled as ?septic miscarriage,? then retracted. Discharged after miscarriage. Pt still experiences break-through bleeding. Post-loss complication: On 5/15/2022 (second menstrual cycle after miscarriage), developed severe hemorrhage lasting >6 hours. This episode began approximately 2 days after receiving the 4th mRNA COVID vaccine (5/13/2022). Required ER evaluation due to ongoing heavy bleeding (saturating pads/chux pads). Hemoglobin/Hematocrit remained stable; vaginal ultrasound negative for retained products. Discharged once bleeding slowed. OB/GYN follow-up noted emerging literature on COVID vaccine and heavy menstrual cycles, although the severity of this hemorrhage was beyond typical reports. Possible contributing factors: (1) immune activation from recent COVID vaccination series, (2) confirmed COVID infection during early pregnancy (known to cause placental inflammation and vascular malperfusion), (3) severe placental inflammation documented on pathology. It was a mild curve that caused me no adverse affects so I was not recommended for surgical intervention. My sciolisis went from a mild curve in 2019 to present day 76% mid-thorasic curve. I need spinal fusion from L1 to S4 to my pelvis or I will be confined to a wheelchair within 5 years and death within 10 years due to organ failure. I had 3 covid-19 vaccines 2 of 3 were mandadated by my employer at the time temporary worker. I am convinced this vaccine caused rapid detoriation of my spine and will ultimately cause my death. After leaving the hospital (a 15 minute walk from my home of years, on one straight street with no turns) i got lost, eventually finding my front door, unable to decipher which keys to use for what seemed like/i assume about 10 minutes. That particular density of fog lifted after a day but a residual cognitive difficulties persist: -difficulty holding simple concepts in near past or future, short term memory -simple mental arithmatic is elusive, remembering number combinations -sense of self is eroded, feeling of being passively trapped within myself instead of the command and agency which i felt before the shot -slugginsh, difficulty conjuring energy, momentum, enthusiasm ---- I beleived there could be external factors contributing to these symptom (general social disruption during that time) so i attempted proactivity by changing diet, exercising, working more, learning chess and playing memory games to produce some clarity and better energy levels (which is why ive waited to make the VAERS report, but despite marginal improvement (exercising has made me stronger but not broken the cloud of sluggishness ive felt ever since the first vaccination) im certain my symptoms were created by the vaccine. I just do not have the command over my faculties in the way i did pre vaccination and its adversely effected me psychologically, emotionally, socially, and professionally; everything is more difficult now. I hope this collected data leads to some understanding of how to correct for these symptoms. Its worth noting that despite the results of the first shot, on account of social pressure and the hope that these symptoms were temporary, and/or the result of a incomplete dosing cycle, i returned in december for shot 2 (FC1611 on Dec 11 2021), which produced no measurable difference in my symptoms, it did not get better but it did not get worse. ------ Anecdotal experience that i feel is relevant: -Before the vaccinations, in late 2019 (or early 2020, i dont remember the exact month) i got Covid and quarantined for 7 days alone, flu like symptoms, resolved in about a week, not fun but no lingering symptoms afterward of covid or of the symptoms im attributing to the vaccine, and no subsequent illness -in late 2020 a friend flew private to avoid covid infection, we met, ate together even using each others utensils. later that week she discovered someone on the private plane was sick and about 80% of the people who flew (her included) developed covid and were in bed for a week. I exhibited no symptoms and tested negative (nor did i have any of the symptoms im attributing to the vaccine) -in mid 2021 (still before vaccination) my partner became very ill with covid. the night before, we ate together, had unprotected sex and slept in the same bed. afterward i did not develop covid, nor exhibit symptoms of covid, tested negative for covid, nor any symptoms im attributing to the vaccine. -after vaccination in 2022 i got sick twice and tested positive for covid four times (two of the pos results were because of exposure, without symptoms) ------ If theres any follow up please feel free to contact me, if theres any way to treat these symptoms im excited to hear. I recognize what im describing isnt as bad as some of the adverse effects others have endured but theyre a burden nonetheless. More
